Many times we are presented with problems and obstacles that stop us and we do not know how to handle properly for different reasons. How we act to overcome these obstacles in life is critical. In fact, it will mark a turning point in our life and will give us a particular character.

This always happens in our lives and if they do not happen it is not natural. Obstacles are normal, since life is full of them, and as many say nothing is easy and everything requires work and effort. They all come to us daily at work, when dealing with other people, or at some point in our lives.

These can be either a breakup, an exam in college, making an important decision, unemployment, etc. Some will be more complicated than others, but after all, living is a constant struggle, a struggle to impose our will despite adverse circumstances. 

How are obstacles presented?

Obstacles can be external, such as facing important situations or decisions. Or, on the contrary, they can be internal, what is known as the fight against the dragon, within the myth of the hero. Both circumstances run with the same anxiety, as they are important and represent turning points in our lives.

We see this as barriers that do not allow us to advance on our day-to-day path, causing us to get stuck at times in said problem without seeing what else is happening in our life, and many times we cannot find the solution quickly or simple. This prevents us from concentrating and making good decisions.

Why are they presented to us?

We are always planning our lives, having goals and making decisions, but these obstacles appear many times when we least expect them, as if they were tests that we must overcome to obtain what we most long for.

It is completely normal and part of life. Although we are endowed with certain problem-solving skills, it is true that a situation is getting out of hand and we do not know how to solve it.

These situations annoy us, depress us, worry us and fill us with fear because we do not know how to overcome them. It is understandable, since we all go through this sometime in our life or rather many times. Because we are alive and, therefore, in constant testing.

How to overcome obstacles?

The main thing is not to get carried away by the mood of the moment. Mood implies being overwhelmed by the irrational element that fills external life with chaos. To be carried away by the spirit is to rob one of the capacity for discernment.

On the contrary, what you must do is feel. This is the ability to evaluate. The sublime art of having a value structure and a sense of the meaning of things. Therefore, through feeling we will get to the depth of things, and that we can give an answer according to our capacities, values ​​and needs of the moment.

It is important to sit down and analyze this situation and see the ways in which we can overcome it, calm down and know that we have the necessary tools to face whatever comes our way.

In summary, it is true that we are not perfect beings and many times we need help, so when we see that something escapes from our hands, do not be afraid to ask for help there will always be someone nearby who wants to reach out to you, it can be our partner, a friend, the family or even a therapist who has the necessary tools to guide you.
