Don’t Give Up, Even If The Cold Burns, Even If Fear Bites.

Don't give up, even if the cold burns, even if fear bites.

Do not give up. In your life you will find many obstacles, many obstacles, many problems that may seem insurmountable. But you should never stop fighting. Have you heard of resilience? It is the ability of human beings to adapt to adversity. If you want you can.

If we know one thing, it is that living is sometimes complicated and that resisting the ups and downs on the high seas is even more so. Stay afloat, be like those Jorge Bucay frogs that fell into a cup full of cream from which they could not jump.

After a few moments kicking, one of them gave up and stopped moving its legs, as it did not find sense to delay its death with a useless effort.

The other frog, however, thought it was worth fighting until the last second of its life and kept moving its little legs faster and faster. So suddenly, surprised, she began to notice how the cream turned into strong and hard butter, allowing her to gather momentum and leave that cup.

The resilience

Resilience means not conceiving of continuing to walk as impossible, falling a thousand times and getting up a thousand and one.  Be strong, resist and work to fight because the difficulty of something increases as you stop trying and life is what happens today, not tomorrow.

You wonder if it is worth it, and the fact that the fact that it does is the key to your success. You will wonder if the smile you dream of is really sincere and if inertia is what guides your steps. Well, that smile is your guarantee, they are the flashes of your courage.  When we are absorbed, we do not smile if in our interior there is no illusion and joy for our goal.

The desire to leave is also part of our strength, our patience and our persistence; because after a “I can not” comes the “come on, I’m going,” like the phoenix rising from its ashes.

Sometimes it is not just about doing it well and we have the obligation to touch our own perfection to keep breathing. But this is because our nature is not to remain still, that is what stones do, we evolve and protect ourselves from the rain and warm ourselves from the cold.

Don’t give up, get ready to overcome adversity

The truth is that winning the battle is not what leaves the most impression, what really influences is the battle itself and preparing for it.

To start practicing resilience, I suggest you look for a word to remember what your struggle is every day or a simple letter that supports you, the C for Courage, the P for Perseverance, the S for Overcoming, the A for Endurance … Choose it depending on your bump and allow yourself to dream, because dreams are our anchors with life.

The value of effort

When the Japanese repair broken objects, they enhance the damaged area by filling in the cracks with gold dust. This art is called Kintsukuroi and the result is that the damaged piece is not only repaired, but made even stronger.

Thus, we should heal and repair our wounds from the falls of life, making them our distinctive part, our true beauty. The wrinkles on our skin are but the marks of a great life and many stories to tell.

It is important that we allow ourselves to collapse, hitting bottom makes us too afraid. The key is not to leave the ship adrift, not to conform or get carried away, what is really valuable is what it costs, it is what we put our hearts into.

Putting resilience into practice, breaking down the most immense walls opens up a new horizon before us and allows us to put on other glasses to contemplate life and continue climbing steps as expensive as the previous ones that, in addition, will leave an abyss before us.

Then, when we hear the desperate echo of the void, we will hear that our life tells us: “Resist because you will be happy, but first I will make you strong.”
