The Wicked Leader: Traits That Identify Him

For the wicked leader the most important thing is to have control over others, especially to drill them psychologically. This gives them a sense of superiority and satisfies their desire to manipulate and harm.
The wicked leader: traits that identify him

The wicked leader is a figure who has two distinctive traits: he is influential and acts against what is healthy or healthy for those who are under his area of influence. This is not necessarily someone with eccentric demeanor or particularly cruel traits. However, it continually hurts.

The word perversion is not always understood. Without going into academic depths, it refers to someone who deviates from what can be called “normal” behavior, in a destructive sense. In particular, in this case, to that person who goes against the construction of cooperative and empathic ties between people.

The perverse leader tends to deploy actions to deconstruct the group and each of the individuals that comprise it. He exercises meticulous control, more with the aim of praising himself than of obtaining good results. Likewise, it frequently induces transgressions. In addition, it has other traits such as the following.

Aggressive boss

Persuasive

The wicked leader often has what is known as abundance and adherence. Abundance refers to skills, resources, knowledge or some other aspect in which it stands out compared to the average. This is a factor that often attracts others and strengthens your authority over them.

On the other hand, it is adherent. This means that you have a great ability to convey your enthusiasm  or passion for something to others. It is as if their emotions are contagious and they do not leave anyone indifferent. It attracts like a magnet.

Thanatic, this is the wicked leader

When it is said that the wicked leader is thanatic, it is meant that he tends to set goals that are destructive, but he makes them look like pleasant. The typical example is the gang leader or who leads actions of aggression or intimidation in a group.

This type of leader has the ability to enhance or discover the evil traits that may be in them. In one way or another, we can all behave in a reprehensible way under certain circumstances and this type of leader is part of those circumstances that relax or cancel the moral supervision of our behavior. He enjoys hurting or destroying and incites others to transgression.

Toxic

This trait is most visible in those wicked leaders who hold some kind of formal power. In one way or another they establish logics that predispose people to one another. They encourage unhealthy competition and promote conflict, even in subtle ways.

For these types of leaders it is dangerous for the weak to unite. Therefore, and individually, it seeks to destroy the trust that each subject has. This guarantees them greater control over a group, while deepening the effect of power it exerts on others.

Narcissistic

Most of these types of leaders are very smart or, at the very least, very cunning. It is also very common that they are charismatic and do not care what opinion others may have about him or her. That gives them a certain aura of security and firmness.

Their abilities, but especially their character structure, leads them to feel superior. Your “audience” tends to reinforce that idea. That is why they are very narcissistic, which is equivalent to having difficulty seeing and feeling beyond their ego. They can also easily collapse in the face of a threat to their power.

Intelligent

As we have already noted, these types of people tend to have remarkable intelligence. It is, above all, a practical intelligence that they use, frequently and paradoxically, to “understand” others. They capture the behavior of others in a mental way, that is, without being sensitized to them. Your goal is to manipulate them.

The intelligence of these leaders is also characterized by being detached from ethics. These types of people very rarely become violent criminals, but transgressions of the norm and the law are very frequent in them. They harm and destroy, but above all because of the satisfaction they experience in disconcerting or minimizing others, not in eliminating them.

Boss listening to employee proposals

Underrated

Evil leaders are also often underestimated in two ways. First, they are not characterized by particularly conspicuous actions. For this reason, they are rarely classified as “wicked” by others. Rather, they are seen as somewhat daring, audacious or troublesome, nothing more.

On the other hand, they themselves underestimate their damage capacity. For them, a minor crime is not a crime, but almost a game or a challenge. So they have no regrets about it. They do not believe that their way of acting is negative or reprehensible. For them, if there are bad consequences, they are not so important as to change.

These types of leaders often attract people who fit their traits well. If they are at the head of a work group, for example, they will often shame, humiliate, deceive and display all kinds of behaviors to make those who are critical of their positions feel bad. They cannot be classified as dangerous, but they can be classified as harmful.
